A Transportation Research Board SHRP 2 Symposium

On October 21-22, 2013, the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies, Second Strategic Highway Research Program conducted its second symposium centered on innovative freight demand modeling and data.

This symposium provided a forum to explore how transportation planners, in focusing on freight flows can benefit from considering supply-chain economics to amplify existing freight-demand forecasting models, data, and methods.

The symposium was held at the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport Hotel located at 2200 Centreville Road, Herndon, Virginia.
